Ingredients:
- Chamoy
- Tajin
- Mango flavored margarita mix: 8 oz
- Mango puree: 2 oz
- Tequila 2 oz
- Cointreau: 1 oz
How to:
Since we are using puree, you are going to want a shaker for this.
- Rim your glass with chamoy and tajin
- In the shaker glass add 8 oz margarita mix, 2 oz puree, 2 oz tequila, and 1 oz Cointreau
- Add ice to the glass and shake
- Pour into your rimmed glass and enjoy!
I was never a huge fan of margaritas before I moved to AZ, that is until I tried a mango margarita with chamoy and tajin on the rim. It was the most amazing drink I’ve ever had in my life tbh.
Immediately after having this margarita, I was on the search for a copy-cat recipe. Of course, I couldn’t find one without 10 different ingredients, so I took a leap of faith and decided to do the short, easy, and less expensive version. And if you want it even cheaper and easier, buy the margarita mix with tequila added. (I do this often)
