Hanging on my living room wall is a picture of Horseshoe Bend, I got it as a present for Ben his first birthday in Arizona. It took us about a year after that to actually see it in person.
Horseshoe Bend is in Page, AZ. You park right off Highway 89, there is an entrance fee of $10 per car. From the parking lot there is a paved path to the bend. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk down, and it brings you right to the main view.
It was August and we arrived at 10 am, so it was fairly busy. Now, if you are afraid of heights, like me, walking around the bend is terrifying. But you do need to walk to the edge to get the best pictures We had to wait for people to move to take pictures, but overall, it was an amazing experience.
